Inspired by an original composition entitled ‘Old Man River’ from the London Pride sow with Whitford in 2000, Mike re-interprets the image to capture his memories of a Cornish backdrop. A soft, gentle feminine figure is looking out over the bay of Newlyn and Mike’s ability to capture early morning sunrise and a vast landscape are evident. A truly romantic image.
